On April 15th, The Rotary Club of Des Moines honored 5 Des Moines Public School educators for their outstanding work in our public school system. These educators are nominated by their school principals and the Rotary awards committee reviews all nominations and selects the winners. Each educator is awarded a $1000 stipend for their classroom and a traveling plaque. They will also be featured on a billboard that will be displayed throughout the City of Des Moines co-sponsored by Lamar.
The Educator awards are made possible by member donations to The Rotary Club of Des Moines Foundation. We have been honoring educators for over 30 years.
